JAZZ JOURNALISTS/ 4 panels on the future of jazz in Boston

JazzJour1ScullerswJB.jpg

FIRST JAZZ JOURNALIST PANEL caught 'JB', Jack Bernstein looking back, next table over are
Steve Schwartz and Chris Lydon behind him. I'm working up my Sculler's shorthand watercolor notes.

SECOND JAZZ JOURNALIST Nadine Chase friend and sweet Jazz songstress is those long blonde
tresses at the Regatta Bar. Back against floor to ceiling windows we feel four stories up, out and over.

THIRD JAZZ JOURNALIST with RON GILL Jon Hammond asks for two last
questions. Ron was recognized, said he had a story to offer and was nicely asked if he'd
hold a story 'til after. Ron leans back, hands behind his head. I love the 'look' of such a
typical gesture...to my eyes he seems to be, literally and visually, "holding his story".

JAZZ JOURNALISTS/ Boston Jazz Career Launching Pad ? barely fills half a room and
only half again young folks.. Patricia Adams and Nadine Chase sat with Jack Bernstein, and with
Bob Blumenthal, Steve Schwartz, are recognized jazz elders. The panel, Dayla Arabella Santurri,
Michael Dreese, Alan Chase, Rebecca Parris, Phil Wilson, Berklee grad, trumpeter Christian Scott.
After talking with Dayla Arabella Santurri at JJP#3 I wanted to see if I could capture some sense of
the size of Scullers' room. Widest angle site was almost the same table as my 'look' for panel #1.

Jack Bernstein [JB]'s my digital imaging partner in &'ANDS: our Fine Jazz Prints enterprise.
We will be producing collectible fine quality prints from my original watercolor paintings.
Chosen original watercolors will act like photographic negatives. We'll use our scanner
and our software tools to enhance and adjust images to create each singular art print.
...&'ANDS:'s our dba name of the fine digital print division or 'look' of TH'ARTIST'S EYES:.
"get another look with th'artist's eyes" has always been the tag line for several decades
of my illustration, design and typography work here in the Boston graphic design market.
Our creative energies focus on making original small watercolors into a wide range of
fine singular inkjet color print sizes, also fine black and white prints of ink drawings.
